Carpentry Supervisor / Joinery Supervisor

• Salary: $3,500 – $5,000 per month

• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• Location: Multiple location - based on sites for installation activities

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Carpentry / Joinery Supervisor to oversee factory production and on-site installation activities for custom carpentry and joinery projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating production, manpower, materials and installation teams while ensuring that projects are completed according to drawings, quality standards and project timelines.

This is a hands-on supervisory role suitable for candidates with strong experience in custom carpentry, cabinet making, architectural joinery or interior fit-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily factory production activities including cutting, assembly, carpentry, finishing and manpower allocation.

• Plan production schedules and coordinate materials including timber, veneers, laminates, PET panels, hardware, adhesives and related materials.

• Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, joinery details and 3D drawings/mock-ups.

• Prepare and verify cutting lists, production requirements and fabrication instructions.

• Coordinate the operation, maintenance and proper use of CNC and other carpentry/factory machinery.

• Supervise carpentry and installation teams for residential, commercial and retail projects.

• Conduct site measurements and identify site conditions or discrepancies before fabrication.

• Coordinate closely with project managers, designers, main contractors, factory personnel and subcontractors.

• Plan delivery, transportation, lifting and installation activities, including night works for retail/mall projects when required.

• Troubleshoot site installation issues such as uneven/out-of-plumb walls, fitting difficulties and dimensional discrepancies.

• Conduct factory quality checks before products are delivered to site.

• Ensure completed works meet project specifications and quality requirements.

• Monitor site progress and coordinate rectification, touch-ups and defect works.

• Ensure workers comply with workplace safety, WSH and relevant Singapore regulatory requirements.

• Support project handover and ensure outstanding defects are completed within the required timeline.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in carpentry, joinery, cabinet making or interior fit-out.

• Experience as a supervisor/foreman for daily operation in production & installation.

• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, joinery details and cutting lists.

• Good knowledge of timber, veneers, laminates, PET panels, adhesives and carpentry hardware/ironmongery.

• Experience in factory production and site installation is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with CNC machinery and carpentry production processes will be an advantage.

• Singapore Class 3 driving licence is advantageous.

• Willing to work overtime, weekends or night shifts when required for project installation.
