Business Development Manager – Bancassurance

Our client is a well-established general insurance company seeking a Business Development Manager to manage and grow a key bancassurance partnership with a leading local bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and achieve business targets across the bancassurance channel.
• Develop strong relationships with key banking stakeholders and distribution teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and initiatives to increase sales, conversion and customer penetration.
• Plan and execute campaigns, sales activities and partnership initiatives.
• Analyse sales performance and market data to identify growth opportunities.
• Work with internal teams across underwriting, operations and claims to support business delivery.
• Track sales pipelines, KPIs and provide regular performance updates to management.
• Ensure all activities meet regulatory, compliance and governance requirements.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in bancassurance, insurance, banking, business development or partnerships.
• Strong track record in sales, relationship management or business development.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-driven, results-oriented and able to work effectively in a target-driven environment.
