Senior Infrastructure & Platform Engineer

The company

A renowned brand within the financial services sector is expanding their technology team in Singapore. They are in search of a Senior Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to join them in modernizing their IT Infrastructure

The role

• Design and maintain scalable infrastructure across global data centers and cloud.
• Provide Windows Server escalation and Linux Server Level 1 support.
• Implement Windows Server security, hardening and compliance standards.
• Drive automation to improve performance and reduce manual processes.
• Develop tools and scripts for deployment, monitoring and system management.
• Work with global stakeholders on infrastructure requirements and implementations.
• Identify and deliver automation opportunities across global teams.
• Ensure infrastructure security, availability, reliability and performance.
• Modernize data center operations through technology and process improvements.
• Manage and optimize servers, storage, virtualization and HCI environments.
• Ensure high availability through backups, monitoring, capacity planning and maintenance.

The requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, virtualization and HCI environments, with strong automation capabilities.
• Proficient in Bash, Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Strong hands-on experience with Nutanix, Linux, Windows Server, VMware, Veeam, NetApp, Docker and Kubernetes.
