Junior/Senior Service Engineer

Role Overview:

Responsible for providing hands-on technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for advanced analytical and scientific instruments across research, manufacturing, and high-tech industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Execution & Maintenance: Perform installation, commissioning, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repairs for instruments such as Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, Spectroscopy, and ICP spectrometers at customer sites.

• Technical Support & Escalations: Diagnose technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and manage critical escalations. (Senior level will independently manage complex cases and mentor junior engineers).

• Customer Engagement & Training: Deliver technical support, user operational training, and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Operations & Revenue Support: Prepare service reports, track spare parts, ensure compliance with safety standards, and identify business opportunities (e.g., service contracts, upgrades, parts).

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Chemical) or Instrumentation/Controls.

• Experience:

• Junior Level: 0–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are welcome; structured training provided).

• Senior Level: 4+ years of hands-on field service experience in scientific/analytical instrumentation.

• Technical Skills: Experience with or strong willingness to learn advanced scientific systems (Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, Spectroscopy, ICP).

• Mobility & Competencies: Strong troubleshooting ability, proactive work ethic, and willingness to travel overseas for regional projects as required.
