Responsibilities:

• Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, housekeeping, and overall store organisation.
• Sales & Profitability: Drive sales performance and achieve business targets by monitoring sales results, analysing performance data and implementing strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise and motivate retail staff. Manage staff scheduling, performance expectations, payroll and ongoing coaching to maintain high service standards.
• Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Visual Merchandising: Oversee product placement, store layout and visual displays in line with company guidelines to create an attractive shopping environment and maximise sales.
• Marketing & Promotions: Work closely with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and marketing activities, while monitoring their effectiveness and providing feedback to management.
• Safety & Security: Ensure compliance with safety, security and loss-prevention procedures to safeguard customers, employees and company assets.
• Policies & Procedures: Implement and enforce company policies and standard operating procedures while keeping updated on retail trends and best practices.
• Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors, while collaborating with HR and other departments to ensure smooth communication and store operations.

Requirements:

• At least 3–5 years of experience in a retail management role with experience leading teams, achieving sales goals, and overseeing store operations.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
• Ability to handle cash and other financial transactions accurately.
• Self-motivated, proactive, results-driven, and positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
