Part-Time Student Care Teacher cum Child-Minder

BrightMind Learning Hub is looking for a responsible and caring Permanent Part-Time Student Care Teacher cum Child-Minder to support primary school children during after-school and child-minding hours.

The role involves supervising children, guiding daily routines, assisting with homework time, supporting structured activities, managing safe check-in/check-out procedures and ensuring children are cared for in a safe and organised environment.

Responsibilities:

Supervise primary school children during after-school hours.

Guide children through routines such as arrival, attendance, meals/snacks, homework time, reading, activities and dismissal.

Assist with homework supervision and basic learning support.

Maintain classroom order and encourage positive behaviour.

Support flexible child-minding arrangements, including check-in/check-out and quiet supervised activities.

Ensure children’s safety and well-being at all times.

Assist with classroom tidiness, learning materials and simple administrative tasks.

Communicate professionally with parents where required, or escalate matters to management.

Requirements:

Minimum GCE “O” Level / N Level / Diploma or equivalent.

Experience in student care, childcare, tuition, enrichment or child supervision is preferred.

Patient, responsible and able to manage primary school children.

Able to commit to fixed weekday part-time shifts.

Able to assist with basic homework supervision.

Good communication and classroom management skills.

Working Hours:

School Term: Monday to Friday, between 1:00pm and 9:00pm.
School Holidays: Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 9:00pm.
Exact working days and shifts will be discussed.

Salary:

S$12 per hour, depending on experience and commitment.
