Accounts Executive (5 days / Construction) [EL]

Financial Accounting

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including AP, AR, GL postings, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and balance sheet schedules.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, staff claims, and accounting entries.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and cash flow to support healthy business operations.
• Maintain proper accounting records and filing systems for audit and compliance purposes.

Compliance & Audit

• Handle GST submissions, IRAS reporting, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Support year-end financial audits and prepare audit schedules and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with corporate secretaries, auditors, banks, and external stakeholders when required.
• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and company policies.

Business Support & Analysis

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights on business performance.
• Support management reporting and financial decision-making through timely and accurate information.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance finance operations and reporting efficiency.
