Physiotherapists - WCAN

Responsibilities for Physiotherapists:

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments using appropriate clinical outcome measures.
• Develop individualized care plans and establish patient-centred treatment goals.
• Deliver therapy interventions in patients' home settings.
• Provide caregiver education, training, and recommend appropriate assistive equipment.
• Coordinate discharge planning and refer patients to relevant community or healthcare services when required.
• Participate in monthly home therapy team meetings.
• Conduct therapy in-service training and attend departmental training and professional development programmes.
• Perform administrative duties and any other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications for Physiotherapists:

• Recognized Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy accredited by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
• Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to independently conduct patient assessments and deliver physiotherapy interventions in a home care setting.
• Competent in developing individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs and rehabilitation goals.
