Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Maintain full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure accurate recording of revenue, expenses, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
  • Monitor business unit and outlet-level financial performance, highlighting cost control opportunities.
  • Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and payments accurately and within established timelines.
  • Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain proper accounting records and documentation to support audit and compliance requirements.

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

  • Prepare and submit GST returns, IRAS filings, and other statutory reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during year-end audits.
  • Liaise with corporate secretaries and external service providers on ACRA-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), statutory requirements, and internal controls.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting

  • Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.
  • Analyse budget versus actual performance and provide variance explanations.
  • Assist in cash flow monitoring, forecasting, and working capital management.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA Singapore are advantageous.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience with exposure to full sets of accounts.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Meticulous, organised, and able to maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
