Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to support the growth of our business and expand our client and partner network. The role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients and partners, and working closely with internal teams to develop solutions that meet clients’ business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the financial technology and payments industry.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, business partners and other key stakeholders.
• Manage the business development process from initial contact and discussions through to commercial negotiation and onboarding.
• Understand clients’ business requirements and work with internal teams to propose suitable solutions.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations and commercial agreements.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify new opportunities and industry developments.
• Work closely with product, operations and compliance teams to support client onboarding and implementation.
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospective clients and provide regular updates on business development activities.
• Support existing client relationships and identify opportunities to expand accounts.
• Represent the company at meetings, industry events and other business development activities when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Experience in business development, sales, account management or a related commercial role.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple opportunities at different stages.
• Good commercial awareness and ability to understand clients’ business requirements.
• Experience in FinTech, payments or financial services would be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
