Strategic Projects & Procurement Specialist (Public Sector)

The Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering with public sector to look for a Strategic Projects & Procurement Specialist (Public Sector).
• Supporting a major closure project, covering stakeholder coordination, procurement, vendor and budget management, project administration, and implementation of policies and procedures.

The Talent

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Prior experience in public sector procurement, including tender management, bid evaluation and presentations, is preferred.
• Prior project management experience is preferred.
• Prior contract management experience is preferred

Job Description

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, suppliers and consultants, to coordinate key project workstreams and support successful project closure.
• Support procurement activities, including preparing requirements specifications and procurement documentation, managing the procurement process, preparing evaluation reports, supporting contract awards, and tracking vendor billing and budgets.
• Manage vendor and consultant relationships, including conducting site inspections and visits when required.
• Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures and guidelines across relevant project workstreams.
• Provide project management and administrative support, including records management, filing, vendor payment and billing tracking, budget monitoring and project timeline tracking.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings, prepare meeting notes and monitor action items and follow-ups.
• Provide administrative and project support for other ad-hoc workstreams as required.
