About the Role

We are currently hiring School Laboratory Assistants to support science laboratories across various schools in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are organized, hands-on, and passionate about creating a safe and effective learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory equipment, materials, and chemicals for science practical lessons.
• Assist teachers with laboratory preparation and practical activities.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the laboratory.
• Monitor and manage laboratory inventory, supplies, and consumables.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on laboratory equipment.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals and lab materials.
• Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and school regulations.
• Keep accurate records of laboratory stock and equipment.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Science or a related discipline.
• Prior laboratory or school-based experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and chemical handling.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with school staff.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• MOE REMS registration will be an advantage.
