Accounts Executive

Responsibilities

• In charge of preparing the full set of accounts(AP, AR, GL, Inventory, reconciliations, monthly closing, financial statements)for management and statutory reporting.
• Handle inter-company transactions: record, reconcile, and ensure accurate elimination entries for consolidation.
• Prepare budgets and cash flow forecasts, providing insights for management decisions and board papers.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting to landlord, regulatory etc.
• Conduct financial and variance analysis, including costing and margin analysis for jewellery manufacturing and retail operations.
• Prepare statutory compliance requirements: audit schedules, tax computations, GST submissions, and legal documentation.
• Support inventory costing, and variance analysis for production and retail sales.
• Advise operations teams on cost efficiency, pricing strategies, cash flow implications, and compliance considerations.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax agents, and legal advisors to ensure smooth statutory compliance.
• Recommend process improvements and contribute to workflow optimization across finance and operations.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or retail industries.
• Strong knowledge of inter-company transactions, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, audit, tax, GST, and legal compliance in Singapore.
• Familiarity with costing principles and manufacturing workflows is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience (Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar), basic AI tools etc is an advantage.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Independent, proactive, and able to take initiative in problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Preference will be given to candidates familiar with Singapore’s regulatory, tax, and retail environment.
