Senior Engineer (Geotechnical）

Job Description:

The Senior Geotechnical Engineer is responsible for supporting geotechnical design and site activities for the project, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes of practice and authority requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out geotechnical analysis and design, including foundation, excavation support and ground improvement works
• Review geotechnical design drawings and calculations in accordance with project specifications and relevant codes
• Coordinate with consultants and design teams on geotechnical matters
• Liaise with clients, consultants and local authorities on technical submissions and approvals
• Provide technical support during construction stage, including site supervision and troubleshooting of ground-related issues
• Monitor ground behaviour (e.g. settlement, deformation) and propose mitigation measures when required
• Support preparation of technical reports and documentation
• Guide and support junior engineers

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering (recognized by PE Board Singapore preferred)
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering
• Experience in tunnel / deep excavation / foundation works preferred
• Familiar with Singapore codes of practice and authority requirements
• Experience in both design and construction stages is an advantage
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical behaviour
• Good coordination and communication skills
