Key Responsibilities
• Perform servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment and systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) with customers when required.
• Liaise directly with customers to understand their technical and service requirements.
• Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, and customer training.
• Plan service and project activities and ensure tasks are completed according to agreed schedules.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, mechanical, and control system issues.
• Perform on-call and standby duties when required.
• Maintain proper service records, reports, and equipment documentation.
• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with all site safety requirements.
• Provide professional and responsive technical support to customers.
• Work independently as well as collaboratively with the service and project teams.
Requirements
• Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Higher NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant hands-on experience in equipment installation, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting is preferred.
• Experience in FPI cleaning lines, high-vacuum systems, heat treatment furnaces, CNC machines, PLC control systems, or other industrial equipment will be an advantage.
• Strong hands-on competency in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Independent, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive working attitude.
• Class 3 driving licence is preferred.
• Willing to travel to project sites and perform on-call or standby duties, including outside normal working hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
