Job Description:


1)Technical Service & Maintenance:

  • Perform periodic servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cooling systems.
  • Diagnose hardware/software faults, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Conduct equipment power-up/down procedures and respond promptly to e-calls (emergency calls).

2) Client Support & Training:

  • Provide technical support and onsite training on Operation & Maintenance Manuals (OMM).
  • Maintain strong client relationships.
  • Liaise with customer engineering departments to ensure compliance with company procedures and quality guidelines.

3) Documentation & Reporting:

  • Complete detailed service reports after each servicing/e-call.
  • Submit weekly/monthly reports on work activities, progress, and remedial actions.
  • Maintain accurate filing, documentation, and tracking of all service records.

4) Site & Contractor Management:

  • Monitor and manage contractor activities to ensure adherence to safety/operational procedures.
  • Review site "Events and Actions," implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Plan, execute, and update daily work schedules.

5) Safety & Compliance:

  • Strictly follow data center safety rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Ensure all work activities comply with occupational safety guidelines.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors.

Requirements

  • Minimum ITE/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in preventive maintenance engineering with hands-on experience in cooling systems, preferably involving data centre cooling solutions, CRAC, precision air-conditioning or other mission-critical cooling infrastructure.
  • Proficient in electrical/mechanical systems troubleshooting.
  • Practical knowledge of CRAC, WDS (water detection system), or related critical infrastructure is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (written/verbal).
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments.
  • Team player with a positive, motivated, and willing-to-learn attitude.
  • Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to perform standby duties as required by operational needs.
  • Able to perform manual tasks in data center environments.
