Executive, Shipping Transhipment

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Singapore transhipment (inbound & outbound) operations.

• Support and guide Malaysia transhipment staff, including handling operational exceptions and emergencies.

• Monitor dwell time and control operational costs, including PSA-related charges (e.g. re-nomination, shut-out, storage rent).

• Prepare operational reports and perform data analysis.

• Drive process improvement initiatives and coordinate IT enhancement requests with HQ.

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs regulations and transhipment requirements.

• Maintain knowledge of Southeast Asia feeder networks to support operational planning.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

• Preferably 1-2 years of shipping, logistics, or transhipment experience.

• Good understanding of Singapore transhipment operations, PSA tariffs, customs regulations, and regional feeder networks.

• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
