QAQC Engineer (A1 Maincon - 5.5 days)

We are looking for a QAQC Engineer to manage quality assurance and control across construction projects, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP); ensure subcontractors comply

• Monitor subcontractors' Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)

• Conduct quality inspections and audits against specifications and regulations

• Review and approve quality documents (method statements, checklists, test reports)

• Coordinate with site teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions

• Track quality performance of subcontractors and suppliers

• Ensure materials and workmanship meet required standards

• Maintain quality records for project handover

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on quality matters

• Train site personnel on quality control procedures

• Participate in project meetings on quality issues

• Manage subcontractors to clear defects and meet CONQUAS targets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• 3–5 years' experience in QA/QC within construction

• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and regulations

• Proficient in quality management systems; ISO 9001 certification a plus

• Good with numbers and computer systems

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented, persistent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
