📚 Join a well-established bookstore retail team in the North-East! We are looking for customer-focused Cashiers / Retail Assistants to support daily store operations. If you have retail experience and enjoy interacting with customers, we’d love to hear from you!

• 5 days per week

• Full store operating hours:
  10:45am to 8:30pm

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Operate cashier/POS systems and process customer transactions accurately

• Handle cash and various payment methods

• Assist customers with enquiries and provide friendly customer service

• Support stock replenishment, stocktaking and general store operations

• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming store environment

• Assist with daily outlet operations and other duties assigned by the Store Manager
  

✅ Job Requirements

• Preferably 1 year or more of full-time retail experience

• Retail, bookstore, customer service or hospitality experience is an advantage

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Customer-oriented, reliable and responsible

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment

• Able to commit to weekends, public holidays and the October–mid-January peak period

• Candidates who can start immediately or within a short notice period are highly preferred

📌 Important: Candidates should have no extended holiday plans from October to mid-January, as this is the peak retail period.
