BUILDING MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

Building Maintenance Assistant

Working Venue: Bendemeer

Basic salary: $2500-$3000

Working hours: 9am to 6pm (5 1/2 days)

Key responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Perform routine building maintenance , including cleaning, general carpentry, painting, minor repairs, and general upkeep of building interior and exterior areas

•⁠ ⁠Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, and repair requirements

•⁠ ⁠Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders efficiently

•⁠ ⁠Assist with preventative maintenance programmes to ensure facilities and equipment remain in good working condition

•⁠ ⁠Carry out basic installation and repair of fixtures, fittings, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical works under supervision

•⁠ ⁠support the maintenance of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) system as required

•⁠ ⁠maintain and organise maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory

•⁠ ⁠Record maintenance activities and report issues requiring follow-up

•⁠ ⁠Comply with workplace safety regulations and collaborate with team members and contractors to complete maintenance works effectively

•⁠ ⁠sues encountered to senior maintenance staff

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance projects efficiently and on schedule

•⁠ ⁠Supporting the maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems under supervision

•⁠ ⁠Perform general carpentry and painting works as required

Required Skills

•⁠ ⁠General carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical work

•⁠ ⁠interpreting technical manuals. blueprints, and schematic drawings

•⁠ ⁠maintaining accurate logs and records of maintenance and repair work

•⁠ ⁠good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.

•⁠ ⁠Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing or working at heights

Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠3 years of experience in maintenance, construction. or a related field

•⁠ ⁠core trade certificate or equivalent qualification
