About this job
- Meet with clients to understand their design vision, requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and plans based on client requirements.
- Plan and optimize interior spaces, considering functionality, furnishings, aesthetics, and practicality.
- Research and source suitable materials, furniture, finishes, and products according to the design concept and budget.
- Prepare and review design drawings, layouts, and related project documentation.
- Ensure design plans comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, contractors, and other relevant parties throughout the project.
- Monitor on-site implementation to ensure the completed works follow the approved design and specifications.
- Identify and resolve design or site issues and make necessary adjustments to plans where required.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, materials, and resources effectively.
- Keep updated on current interior design trends, materials, and industry practices and incorporate suitable ideas into projects.
- Perform other design and project-related duties as assigned.
