Job Summary

Manage market risk for physical and paper trading by analyzing exposures, verifying transactions, and ensuring compliance with trading policies to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage market risk for physical and paper trading by monitoring exposures and evaluating risk factors
• Analyze profit and loss (P&L) and exposure data for paper and physical deals to identify risk trends and impacts
• Verify daily clearing bank statements and calculate margin calls to ensure accurate financial settlements
• Validate deal inputs daily to maintain data accuracy and integrity in trading records
• Ensure compliance with company trading policies and established risk management processes
• Prepare and deliver daily and monthly market risk reports to support risk oversight and management decisions
• Develop and implement market risk frameworks and policies to enhance risk controls and governance
• Provide analytical support for all market risk analysis functions to facilitate risk assessment and mitigation
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support team and organizational objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience demonstrating effective teamwork and market risk management skills
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking counterparts
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency
