About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Relationship Manager to support the Corporate Banking team in delivering high-quality banking solutions and client servicing to corporate customers.

This role offers broad exposure to corporate banking operations, trade finance, client onboarding, credit administration and relationship management, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to build a long-term career in Corporate Banking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Relationship Managers in managing a portfolio of corporate banking clients by providing day-to-day relationship and account servicing.
  • Assist with corporate account opening, customer onboarding, KYC documentation, periodic reviews and maintenance of client information.
  • Prepare, submit and follow up on credit applications, annual credit reviews, facility renewals, limit setups and related internal approval processes.
  • Coordinate closely with Operations, Compliance, Risk Management, Finance and other internal departments to ensure timely execution of banking transactions.
  • Support post-lending administration, including loan documentation tracking, covenant monitoring, facility maintenance and internal reporting.
  • Assist corporate clients with internet banking implementation, digital banking services and ongoing system support.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for banking systems and digital banking platforms.
  • Prepare management reports, client presentations and other internal documentation.
  • Support departmental projects and perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Trade Finance or Corporate Banking Operations.
  • Exposure to corporate lending, trade finance, credit administration or client servicing will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with KYC, AML and regulatory requirements within Corporate Banking.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and a strong team player.
