Safety Officer cum Fire Safety Manager (WSHO cum FSM)

Location: Jurong
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Contract Duration: 2 years, with an option to renew for an additional 1 year
Commencement: October / November 2026

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site checks and take appropriate actions
• Manage contractors, including conducting SIC and reviewing/approving HSE contractor documents
• Review and update risk assessments and other HSE documents
• Conduct HSE briefings for new joiners and visitors
• Maintain the HSE management system
• Prepare HSE Committee meeting presentation slides and minutes of meeting
• Support incident investigations
• Conduct HSE training and briefings
• Collect and record monthly KPIs in the HSE portal
• Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations
• Develop HSE activities to promote mental health and healthy living
• Plan and conduct CERT refresher training
• Conduct tabletop exercises
• Lead fire drills
• Review and update the Emergency Response Plan (ERP)
• Enforce all HSE requirements
• Support the HSE Manager in delivering business goals and HSE targets

Requirements

• Must be registered with MOM as WSHO
• Must be registered with SCDF as FSM
• Relevant HSE/WSH experience will be an advantage
• Good knowledge of HSE requirements and local regulations
• Able to conduct HSE training, briefings and site inspections
• Able to work independently and manage contractors effectively
