Site Engineer( HVAC)

• Project: FCU and AHU Replacement Works
• Working hours: Mon to Fri, 9.30pm to 6.30am (Night shift)
• Location: Choa Chu Kang
• 1 year contract

Job Summary

You will oversee the replacement and installation of Fan Coil Units (FCUs) and Air Handling Units (AHUs), ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily FCU and AHU replacement activities to ensure timely and quality execution
• Ensure installation complies with industry standards, project requirements, and safety regulations
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth task execution
• Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and quality
• Perform testing and commissioning (T&C) of replaced units to verify operational performance
• Conduct quality inspections of equipment and workmanship to uphold project standards
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for project documentation
• Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize disruptions and delays
• Assist in preparing and submitting required documentation and reports for project tracking

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field
• Proven experience overseeing HVAC projects, specifically FCU and AHU systems
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software to support project planning and documentation
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure quality and resolve issues
