Staff Nurse/ Senior Staff Nurse (Interventional Radiology)

Job Description

• Provide radiology and perioperative nursing care.
• Assist radiologist and surgeons during radiological procedures and operations.
• Monitor and assess patient pre, intra and post procedures
• Coordinate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary caregivers in providing safe efficient patient care.
• Prepare patient for MRI procedure and cannulation for scan.
• Recover patient after day surgery operation.
• Follow up with specimen result and charges.
• Guide and train new nurses.
• Maintain good inventory of medication and stock
• Prepare and organize for next day cases
• Demonstrate proper use, care and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Demonstrate proper and economical usage of sterile supplies and consumables.
• Assist in inventories and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure adequate daily supplies of consumables.
• Assist with optimal OT room utilization

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board
• BCLS & AED Certified
• Diploma or degree in nursing or equivalent
• At least 1 or 2 years' experience as a Intervention Radiology Staff Nurse in a clinical setting
