Supply & Procurement Executive (Shipping & Industrial Products)

About the Role

Support the sourcing and supply of industrial, specialty, and bulk gas products for vessels and operational sites.

You will work with suppliers, shipping teams, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to arrange competitive pricing and timely deliveries.

Candidates from shipping, marine supply, industrial products, logistics, offshore services, technical sales support, or procurement are welcome to apply. Previous gas-purchasing experience is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

1. Review operational requests for industrial, specialty, and bulk gas products.

2. Confirm product details, quantities, delivery locations, and required dates.

3. Find suitable manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and logistics providers.

4. Request and compare quotations based on price, availability, and delivery.

5. Negotiate pricing, supply terms, and delivery arrangements.

6. Prepare purchase orders and check that the details and documents are correct.

7. Coordinate order fulfilment, stock replenishment, transport, and deliveries.

8. Monitor market prices, product availability, and supplier capacity.

9. Resolve supply shortages, delivery delays, quality concerns, and invoice issues.

10. Update procurement records, review supplier performance, and support cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

1. Diploma or degree in Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

2. Around one to two years of experience in shipping, marine supply, procurement, industrial products, logistics, or a related environment.

3. Exposure to industrial gases, technical products, marine supplies, or industrial distribution would be helpful but is not essential.

4. Some experience with quotations, order coordination, logistics, suppliers, purchasing, or inventory would be advantageous.

5. Good communication, organisation, and attention to detail; knowledge of procurement or ERP systems is an advantage.
