Architectural Coordinator

JOB SCOPE

• Report to Project Director and Project Manager on site matters and progress of work
• Assist with workers matters
• Provide reports and daily activity updates to management
• Produce proper reports and documentation before and after project completion.
• Conduct inspections and assess the work performance done by all subcontractors
• Identifying and resolving workplace problems with all the subcontractors & suppliers

Planning

• Assist the team in project schedule by contributing to calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, sub-contractors and coordinate site activities arrangement, and ensure effective teamwork alongside the team and workers.
• Review and check detailed plans before actual work implementation.
• Resolve technical problems at site by developing solutions to problems.
• Assist to plan, coordinate and supervise assigned activities to optimise the utilization of resources available to ensure that activities are completed within schedule.
• Participate with the team in controlling the project plans in reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.

Documentation

• Assist the team and participate to prepare daily/weekly and monthly site reports and submit to the planning department.

Safety and cleaning

• Conduct risk assessment and implement hazard/safety control measures.
• Ensure working environment is safe and clean by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations to achieve high safety and quality standards for site works.
• Assist the team to ensure that the project team always follow the safety work procedure to maintain a safe working environment.

Adhoc

• Other ad-hoc duties as may be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Familiar with construction drawings and A&A works.
• Required to travel to office when necessary and required to.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines, task oriented and meticulous with keen eye for details..
• Client oriented, able to work independently and a team player.
• Able to lead a team of workers efficiently.
