The Opportunity
Sales Manager – Data Centre to lead business development and sales growth across the data centre segment.
This role is responsible for driving new opportunities, managing key accounts, and converting project pipelines into profitable orders through both direct and channel sales.
You will act as a data centre segment expert, working closely with customers, consultants, contractors, system integrators, and internal regional and global teams.
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the data centre business across the region
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with end users, consultants, contractors, and system integrators
Build and manage a strong pipeline of data centre projects, progressing opportunities from early engagement through to order conversion
Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders at multiple levels
Work closely with local, regional, and global teams to support deal strategy, pricing, and solution positioning
Collaborate with distribution partners to ensure effective market coverage and successful project execution
Provide guidance on pricing, quotations, and commercial strategy for data centre projects
Track sales activities, forecasts, and project pipelines accurately within CRM systems
Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to support strategic decision-making
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and data centre forums
Act as a subject-matter expert on data centre power solutions, industry standards, and on-site power system design
Requirements
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience within power generation, electrical infrastructure, or mission-critical environments
Understanding of power generation, UPS, and critical power solutions
Comfortable working independently and travelling
