Assistant Tax Manager (MNC, Regional & Transfer Pricing)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage local and international tax compliance (direct and indirect taxes) by collaborating with external tax agents.

• Coordinate with external agents to prepare and review the group's transfer pricing documentation and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) in line with OECD and local guidelines.

• Prepare and review regular current and deferred tax provisions for both local and overseas business entities.

• Act as the main point of contact for tax authorities during audits, investigations, or objections. Support annual statutory financial audits.

• Review contracts and agreements to provide strategic tax advice on ad-hoc queries, and assist with special tax projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications like Accredited Tax Practitioner (Income Tax) are highly preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years focused on Transfer Pricing (ideally within a global MNC).

• Exposure to US Tax and Group Tax. Strong familiarity with regional tax is a major advantage.

• Thorough knowledge of US GAAP.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Oracle, HFM, and OA systems.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong presentation abilities, and a high commitment to quality work.
