Accountant (MNC/ Inventory/ Central Region)

Overview:

• Company: Singapore-based MNC
• Industry: Manufacturing, Automotive parts
• Location: near Bugis MRT, Central

Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly inventory closing and ensure timely completion.

• Reconcile inventory between WMS and ERP; investigate and resolve variances.

• Prepare aging, variance, and GIT reports; handle accruals and reconciliations.

• Monitor inventory transactions, movements, and discrepancies (e.g. damages/loss).

• Support inventory forecasting, costing, and valuation.

• Assist in stock counts, audits, and documentation.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on inventory issues.

• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.

• 3+ years of experience in inventory accounting or audit.

• Willing to work US hours and travel to the US as needed.

• Knowledge of inventory processes, costing, and reconciliations.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP/Oracle) and WMS.

• Strong Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Familiar with accounting standards (e.g. US GAAP).

• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy.
