Finance cum HR Admin Manager (Trading, 5 days)

Join a well established SME Audio Visual, Lighting & Sound - sales, distribution and trading company and play a key role in managing the finance function. We are looking for a hands-on Finance Assistant Manager with strong experience in stock inventory accounting, full set of accounts, and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the full set of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing.
- Handle payroll (21 headcount), general HR and office admin support
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Manage inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and inventory valuation for trading operations.
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns accurately and on time.
- Monitor cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and support working capital management.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
- Supervise, guide, and review the work of two Accounts Assistants.
- Support budgeting, financial analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a trading, distribution, import/export, or inventory-based business.
- Hands-on experience in stock inventory accounting and full set of accounts.
- Proficient in SAGE ACCPAC accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GST regulations and statutory compliance in Singapore.
- Experience preparing financial statements, cash flow reports, and management reports.
- Previous experience leading or supervising junior accounting staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Meticulous, analytical, and able to meet reporting deadlines.
- Good communication skills and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
Trading, wholesale, distribution or inventory-driven companies.
Experience with inventory costing, stock reconciliation, and warehouse transactions.
Exposure to audit coordination and process improvements.
