🔬 Science Lab Assistant

💰 Salary: $15/hour
📅 Contract: 1 year (Jan–Dec 2027), with option to extend for another year
🕐 Working Hours:

Mon–Thu: 7.30am–4.30pm (1-hour lunch)
Fri: 7.30am–4.00pm (1-hour lunch)

📌 Requirements

• Completed secondary education with good spoken English
• Relevant laboratory/science-related experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Administrative experience and MS Office/Outlook skills are advantageous
• Comfortable climbing stairs, as laboratories are located on Levels 2–4

🧪 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare apparatus, materials and equipment for experiments and lessons
• Support teachers with laboratory activities and practical assessments
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping, equipment and inventory records
• Assist with procurement and liaise with vendors/contractors
• Perform data entry and inventory updates
• Support school research projects and other assigned duties

Working hours may vary according to lesson schedules.

🚫 No service required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
