Client is a global leader in analytical instruments and mass spectrometry solutions in Singapore, seeking to hire a 6 Months Renewable Senior Engineer l.

• Duration: 6 Months Contract (Renewable)
• Location: North
• Salary: $6500- $8500 (negotiable)

Your new role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer with experience in developing and implementing functional test solutions to support debugging, diagnosis, and fault isolation of electronic and instrument modules.

• Design, code, and validate automated test software using LabVIEW, CVI, and/or C++ to support new product introductions and engineering improvement projects.
• Ensure PCB assembly (PCBA) testability through the development, qualification, and release of manufacturing test solutions.
• Drive test engineering improvements by identifying opportunities to enhance test coverage, reduce cycle times, and improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Investigate component and module failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to strengthen test processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to develop, qualify, and deploy test hardware, fixtures, and software solutions.
• Support tester, fixture, and measurement system qualification activities, including calibration and maintenance planning.
• Analyze yield and failure data, including first-pass yield and "no fault found" cases, to improve test effectiveness and product quality.
• Provide technical support for test transfer activities, including manufacturing ramp-up, fixture deployment, and contract manufacturer onboarding.
• Develop and maintain ICT/FCT test systems and fixtures to improve test coverage, reliability, and on-time manufacturing delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of signal analysis, signal processing, and electronic test methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in laboratory testing, including setup, configuration, and use of test equipment.
• Proven experience developing test software, firmware, or automated test solutions using LabVIEW, CVI, and/or C++.
• Familiarity with PC and instrument communication interfaces such as RS-232, USB, GPIB, Ethernet, CAN, and SPI.
