Engineering Manager

Our client is a well-established manufacturer supporting customers across multiple industrial sectors. Due to business growth, they are looking to appoint an Engineering Manager to lead their engineering functions with a key focus on RFQ processes.

Your New Role

You will lead the Engineering team, managing the end-to-end RFQ process, technical reviews, costing activities, and documentation standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee RFQ reviews, BOM analysis, product costing, and quotation preparation.
• Establish and monitor KPIs including quote accuracy, turnaround time, and win rates.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and quoting processes.
• Manage technical documentation, including drawings, SOPs, and NPI documentation.
• Negotiate supplier pricing and identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders on engineering projects and quotations.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading engineering, quotations, costing, or estimating functions.
