Assistant Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash flow management.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
· Conduct regular balance sheet reviews and financial reconciliations.
· Manage project cost accounting processes, including budget tracking, revenue recognition, work-in-progress monitoring, and project profitability analysis.
· Oversee manufacturing stock monitoring, including inventory valuation, production costing, and control of raw materials and finished goods.
· Analyse financial results and provide management with timely reports, insightful commentary, and actionable recommendations.
· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, corporate tax, withholding tax, and CPF. Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities during audits and reviews.
· Develop and lead the finance team while enhancing internal controls, financial processes, and SOPs to support business growth and mitigate risk.
· Oversee the year-end closing process and liaise with external auditors across jurisdictions.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
· Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
· Solid understanding of SFRS, GST and local tax compliance.
· Proven experience in group reporting, consolidation, and intercompany transactions.
· Proficient in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP); knowledge of manufacturing modules is a plus.
· Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
· Highly proficient in Excel and financial data analysis.
· Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently in a fast-paces environment.
