BIM Modeller / Interior & Furniture Drafter

• Location: Henderson Road
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm
• Salary: Up to $5,000 based on experience+ Annual leave: 14 days + Medical fees reimbursed + Bonus subject to company performance
• Employment type: Permanent

Join an established furniture and interior furnishing business supporting customised furniture and interior projects. This is a practical, hands-on role for a drafter who enjoys turning design concepts, site measurements and project requirements into accurate, buildable drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update BIM models, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, technical drawings and 3D visuals using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Produce clear furniture, joinery, interior-detail, shop and construction drawings for coordination, fabrication and installation.
• Translate design concepts, site measurements and client requirements into accurate drawing packages.
• Manage drawing amendments, revisions and technical documentation within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate directly with the Director, project team, suppliers and site personnel on drawing and technical matters.
• Attend site or client meetings when required for measurements, coordination and drawing updates.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, Architectural Technology, BIM or a related discipline.
• Hands-on proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience preparing working, construction, shop or as-built drawings.
• Able to read drawings, interpret dimensions and work accurately with revisions.
• Exposure to interior fit-out, customised furniture, joinery, millwork or architectural detailing will be advantageous.
• Applicants must submit a portfolio of relevant BIM models, technical drawings or completed project work.
