• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm
The Responsibility
• Pack semiconductor wafers into approved carriers such as wafer cassettes, wafer boxes, FOUPs, FOSBs, and shipping containers.
• Follow cleanroom SOPs and wafer handling protocols.
• Perform visual inspections to identify defects, contamination, or orientation issues.
• Verify wafer orientation, slot mapping, and quantity accuracy.
• Ensure accurate labelling of wafers and carriers, including lot ID, wafer ID, process stage, and date information.
• Handle wafers using approved tools such as tweezers and vacuum wands.
• Comply with ESD, contamination control, safety, and gowning requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation.
• Complete packing records and production documentation accurately.
• Report abnormalities such as damaged wafers, contamination concerns, or labelling discrepancies.
• Support repacking activities, audit checks, inventory verification, and shipment preparation as required.
The Requirement
• Minimum N level, O level or equivalent qualification.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment while wearing PPE and cleanroom garments.
• Able to perform work that may require prolonged standing and repetitive hand movements.
• Familiarity with wafer sizes (6", 8", and 12") and wafer carriers such as cassettes, FOUPs, and FOSBs will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of ESD and contamination control practices will be an advantage.
