Therapy Aide – Metta Day Rehabilitation Centre (Tampines)

About Us
Metta Day Rehabilitation Centre (MDRC) provides rehabilitation services for seniors recovering from stroke, Parkinson’s disease, or physical injury. Our goal is to help clients regain independence and improve their quality of life in a safe, caring, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out physiotherapy care plans under the guidance of the Physiotherapist
• Carry out occupational therapy care plans under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist
• Assist clients during therapy sessions, including lifting and transfers when needed
• Monitor clients’ conditions and report any changes or concerns promptly
• Record and document therapy sessions daily
• Handle and maintain rehabilitative equipment, reporting any faults as necessary
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients to perform therapies
• Accompany and support clients during outdoor activities and centre events

Other Responsibilities

• Assist in Metta’s fundraising activities and events as required

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum secondary school education; WSQ Certificate or NITEC in Therapy Services is an advantage
• Prior experience in eldercare, therapy, or healthcare support preferred
• Physically fit to assist with client mobility and transfers
• Able to communicate in English and at least one local language/dialect
• Caring, patient, and a good team player
• BCLS + AED certified (or willing to obtain upon hire)

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm
• Occasionally required to work on weekends for CSR events or centre activities (off in lieu or overtime pay provided)
