Dry Bulk Shipping Operations Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the operations team in managing voyage execution for dry bulk carriers, primarily Capesize vessels.
• Support the preparation and review of fixture notes and other shipping documents.
• Help track and monitor the global movement of vessels to ensure schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to coordinate vessel arrival times and cargo readiness.
• Assist in processing key documentation such as Bills of Lading and Notice of Readiness.
• Support laytime recording and demurrage/despatch calculations.
• Liaise with port agents and freight forwarders under the guidance of senior staff.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, International Trade, or a related field.
• No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided. Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Basic understanding of shipping terminology and interest in dry bulk operations.
• Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
