M&E Engineer / Senior M&E Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced M&E Engineer / Senior M&E Engineer to support the execution of building services projects for commercial and industrial developments in Singapore. The successful candidate will be involved in the full project cycle — from engineering coordination and design review through to site supervision, testing, and commissioning.

Candidates with relevant Singapore building M&E project experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate M&E engineering drawings, technical submissions, and specifications
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on project execution and technical matters
• Monitor and supervise site progress, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality standards
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of M&E systems
• Ensure adherence to Singapore authority requirements including BCA, SCDF, PUB, and EMA guidelines
• Participate in project meetings and support overall project coordination
• Assist in resolving technical and site coordination issues
• Support project documentation, material submissions, and progress reporting

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent
• Minimum 6–7 years of relevant M&E building project experience in Singapore
• Experience in commercial and/or industrial building projects will be an advantage
• Familiar with ACMV, electrical power and lighting, fire protection and alarm, plumbing and sanitary, and ELV systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with BIM and CSD coordination preferred
• Sound knowledge of local codes of practice and Singapore authority submission requirements (BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA)
• Good communication and coordination skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Able to manage project schedules, priorities, and multiple tasks effectively

• Candidates with stronger experience will be considered for a Senior M&E Engineer position
• Working Location: Jurong East
• Salary: SGD 4,500 – 6,500 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience
