Lab Assistant | School | West

Main Duties:

A. Office and Lab Support

• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials for Science lessons and STEM activities.

• Assist teachers with practical lessons and maintain laboratory inventory, cleanliness and safety.

• Monitor stock, report faulty equipment and support stock-taking.

B. General Office Support

• Provide reception and frontline customer service.

• Handle enquiries, visitor registration and general administrative duties, including data entry, filing and document preparation.

• Provide administrative support for school programmes, meetings and events.

C. Departmental and School-wide Support

• Support Science Department programmes, STEM activities, exhibitions and school events.

• Work with staff and external vendors to support school operations.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the School Leaders, Operations Manager or Heads of Department.

Working Hours

Mondays - Fridays: 6:45am to 4:15pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break. June: the middle 2 weeks are not required. December: the middle 3 weeks are not required.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Possess a GCE 'N' Level or GCE 'O' Level qualification, or equivalent.

• At least three (3) years of relevant experience in laboratory operations, administration Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety practices.

• Familiarity with office administration and customer service processes.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
