Clinic Assistant - Part time / Hougang / North East

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible, and patient-focused GP Clinic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support healthcare professionals, assist with patient care, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.

You will interact closely with patients and clinic staff, providing professional and efficient service while maintaining high standards of care, confidentiality, and clinic hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient registration, appointment bookings, phone calls, emails, and other administrative tasks using the clinic management system
• Coordinate patient registration and ensure smooth patient flow within the clinic
• Assist doctors during consultations, examinations, and minor medical procedures
• Dispense medications accurately according to doctors' instructions and established clinic protocols
• Handle billing and cashiering duties, including processing payments accurately and efficiently
• Provide patients with information about clinic services, health screening packages, and general enquiries
• Support daily clinic operations and perform other administrative duties as assigned
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and a safe environment within the clinic

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a GP clinic or similar healthcare setting.
• Working experience with clinic management software such as SGiMED.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with patients professionally and empathetically
• Experience in receptionist duties, patient registration, and appointment scheduling
• Good organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work effectively.
• High level of responsibility when handling patient information and confidential records
• Able and willing to work on weekend (Saturday & Sunday- Morning slot) & 2 Weekdays per week (evening slot).
