Senior Networks & Systems Engineer

Established in 2004, our client is a value-added infrastructure networking and cybersecurity distributor specialising in networking, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure solutions.

They are looking for a technically competent and motivated Senior Engineer to join the team — someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, working with customers and continuously learning new technologies.

What You'll Do

• Design, deploy, configure, and implement network and systems solutions according to customer requirements
• Provide on-site and remote technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for customer environments
• Work closely with technology vendors for technical consultation and escalation of complex issues
• Provide technical support for tender submissions, including: Technical compliance documentation, Technical solution proposals, Solution architecture and recommendations, Proof-of-Concept (PoC) planning, setup, and testing, Technical evaluation based on the given Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Evaluate, test, and validate new products and technologies for new solutions and services
• Prepare technical documentation, configuration guides, test reports, and other relevant deployment documentation

What You'll Need

• SG-born citizens may apply only (for CAT 1 government projects clearance purpose)
• Min Diploma in a related discipline
• Min 5 years of hands-on experience in deployment and supporting multi-vendor network infrastructure and systems
• Good understanding of networking concepts, including switching, routing, TCP/IP, and network troubleshooting
• CCNA certification or equivalent networking knowledge is required
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with customers, colleagues, sales teams and vendors
• Experience with the following is an advantage: ManageEngine OpManager, EventLog Analyzer, Patch Manager, Acronis Advanced Data Backup, Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM)
