The F&B Attendant (Night Shift) supports overnight food and beverage operations by coordinating guest requests, in-room dining services, coffee operations, and operational communications across departments and outlets. The role serves as a key overnight point of contact, ensuring smooth service delivery, effective coordination, and exceptional guest experiences during overnight hours.

Reports to F&B Manager

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services & In-Room Dining

  • Manage overnight guest requests and enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate and deliver in-room dining orders efficiently.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently maintained.
  • Build positive guest relationships to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Prepare welcome drink components and mise en place for the following day's operations.

Food & Beverage Operations

  • Reheat, assemble, and present food and beverage items using approved equipment and procedures.
  • Support beverage preparation and service in accordance with established standards.
  • Operate, replenish, clean, and perform basic troubleshooting of the Bruno coffee robot and related coffee equipment.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate supplies for overnight operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards in all service and preparation areas.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and guest experience.

Operations & Coordination

  • Serve as the primary overnight point of contact for operational matters.
  • Liaise with internal departments and outlets to coordinate guest requests, in-room dining orders, and operational requirements.
  • Facilitate effective communication between overnight operations and relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist with overnight operational coordination and follow-up actions.
  • Escalate operational issues and guest concerns to the appropriate parties when required.

Administrative Support

  • Complete overnight reports, documentation, and shift handovers accurately.
  • Monitor reservations, guest communications, and operational follow-up items.
  • Maintain inventory records and stock reporting.
  • Support management with administrative and operational tasks as required.

Event Support

  • Assist with event setup, logistics, and operational support for overnight and early-morning functions.
  • Coordinate guest requirements and communicate effectively with relevant departments.
  • Support the smooth execution of events and special guest requests.

Revenue & Business Support

  • Promote and upsell food, beverage, and guest experience offerings where appropriate.
  • Support revenue growth through service excellence and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation.
  • Ensure smooth overnight operations with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Experience in hospitality, food and beverage service, hotel operations, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight shifts.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • Comfortable coordinating with multiple departments and outlets.
  • Basic barista knowledge or experience operating coffee equipment is advantageous.
  • Administrative or event support experience is an advantage.

Required Certifications

  • WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 (Basic Food Hygiene Certification).
  • Food Handler Certification as required by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA).
  • Workplace Safety & Health awareness compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional WSQ hospitality or customer service certifications.
  • First Aid certification is an advantage.
  • Experience with POS systems, reservation platforms, and hotel management systems.
  • Familiarity with automated coffee systems and beverage preparation equipment.
