Senior/ Sourcing Specialist

Join our team as a Sourcing Specialist and play a critical role in our semiconductor manufacturing and testing operations! You'll drive technical sourcing of components and equipment, delivering cost-effective, timely, and quality-compliant procurement — all while cultivating strong supplier relationships and strengthening our supply chain resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities focusing on supplier selection, cost competitiveness, lead time optimization, and capacity planning to support business objectives.
• Identify and qualify suppliers for semiconductor materials, components, and parts
• Conduct supplier evaluations and risk assessments (quality, capacity, compliance)
• Manage RFQ/RFP processes and maintain a competitive, resilient supplier base
• Monitor market trends and component lead times
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Production on sourcing decisions
• Track supplier performance and drive corrective actions
• Support cost-reduction and alternate sourcing initiatives
• Other duties and reports as assigned by immediate superior

Key Requirements & Competencies:

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 3–5 years of sourcing/procurement experience, preferably in semiconductor, electronics, or precision manufacturing
• Familiarity with semiconductor components, materials, or test/assembly equipment sourcing is a strong advantage
• Working knowledge of import/ export control compliance is a plus
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skill
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel
• Good communication skills for cross-functional and cross-border supplier coordination
