Senior System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, and provide ongoing support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.

• Manage Active Directory environments, including user account provisioning, access permissions, group policies, and account administration.

• Implement, monitor, and maintain Microsoft 365 security and compliance controls, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).

• Manage and support network infrastructure, including firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, and remote-access VPN connectivity.

• Provide technical and desktop support to end users for Windows devices, Microsoft Office applications, printers, and other peripherals.

• Monitor the performance and availability of servers, endpoints, and related IT systems, and troubleshoot technical issues when required.

• Support Microsoft 365 deployment, migration, configuration, and tenant administration activities.

• Perform regular system maintenance, including patch management, backup, recovery, and system updates.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation, including system configurations, procedures, technical records, and operational guidelines.

• Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Hands-on experience in monitoring, administering, and maintaining Microsoft 365 email systems, particularly Exchange Online.

• Preferably 3–5 years of relevant experience in system administration, IT infrastructure, IT operations, or cybersecurity.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience with Active Directory, network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, endpoint administration, and IT security controls is preferred.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve system and user-related issues.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail.
