Marine Maintenance Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of equipment used in robotic operations. The role involves working with auxiliary systems, support machinery, and field equipment to ensure reliable deployment and uninterrupted service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical support equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical assistance during equipment deployment and operational activities.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and spare-parts inventory.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Coordinate with operations and engineering teams for continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Able to use basic tools and testing equipment (e.g., multimeter, wrenches, testers) to assist in maintenance and repair work.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving operational needs.
• Exposure to robotics, automation systems, or marine/industrial operations.
• Ability to work independently and in outdoor or operational environments when required.
• Responsible and methodical in task execution.
