Vice President, Client Onboarding Team Manager - International CIB

An international corporate and investment bank is seeking an experienced Client Onboarding Team Manager to lead its regional KYC onboarding function. This role will oversee team performance and end-to-end client onboarding while partnering with stakeholders across Front Office, Compliance and global operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a regional team of KYC onboarding professionals, including onshore and offshore resources.
• Oversee end-to-end CDD and KYC onboarding for corporate and institutional clients, ensuring service quality and regulatory compliance.
• Manage workflow allocation, team capacity, productivity, turnaround times and the timely resolution of outstanding cases.
• Act as the escalation point for complex onboarding matters involving ownership structures, PEPs, sanctions and adverse media.
• Partner with Front Office, Compliance and global teams while driving management reporting, process improvements, system enhancements and UAT initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant KYC, CDD or AML experience within financial services.
• Strong corporate or institutional client onboarding experience, including complex and higher-risk relationships.
• Proven experience leading and developing KYC teams, including remote or offshore resources.
• Strong operational, stakeholder and project-management capabilities; experience with workflow analytics, Tableau or Alteryx would be advantageous.
