Treasury Settlements (Checker) - Regional Corporate Bank

A regional bank is looking for a Treasury Settlements to join its Treasury Operations team. This is a hands-on checker role supporting the bank's expanding treasury business.

Responsibilities

• Perform checking and approval of treasury settlement transactions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Handle treasury products including FX, Money Market, Bonds/Securities, Repo, Forwards and Dual Currency Investments (DCI).
• Investigate and resolve settlement exceptions, reconciliation breaks and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and operational controls.
• Liaise with Treasury Front Office, counterparties, custodians and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth settlement processing.
• Participate in system enhancements, UAT, regulatory initiatives and process improvement projects.
• Support the team in maintaining high operational standards and risk controls.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of Treasury Operations / Treasury Settlements experience within a bank.
• Hands-on experience across Treasury products such as FX, Money Market, Repo, Securities or Fixed Income.
• Prior checker, authoriser or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of SWIFT messages, settlement processes and treasury operations.
• Experience in treasury projects, UAT or regulatory reporting will be an advantage.
